Dew flight

Icarus, the son of Daedalus, after fleeing from the Labyrinth, flew high¹ into the sky to reach the sun. His wax wings were diminished by the heat, and he fell² into the sea which he has since named. The serenity, tranquility³ and sense of suspense for young Icarus worked intoxicatingly.
