Air shield

The goddess Athena was enchantingly imposing, surrounded by aegis, while Medusa’s head¹ was embossed on her shield and margin. Medusa was a very beautiful mortal mermaid, but we made the fatal mistake of indulging in Poseidon’s amorous call into a temple of Athena, thus provoking her rage². The beautiful mermaid turned into a monster, to anyone who cast her gaze, marbled… Medusa’s reputation spread to the then known world³, with Perseus staying in history as the only one who managed to find a way to beat her eyes, looking at her image through the glossy shield that Athena had given him.
